Dyson Cool Bladeless Fan

My wife got me this for my birthday and I had no idea what I was even looking at. Turns out it's a bladeless tower fan that's noticeably quieter than a regular box fan, with a remote so you never have to get up to change the speed. It's not cheap, but if you want something quiet enough for a bedroom that also looks decent in your living room, it's worth a look.
